NEW DAWN PILATES PRESS RELEASE

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

BOTHWORLDS MEDIA IN ASSOCIATION WITH NEW DAWN PILATES™ TO RELEASE EXERCISE DVD FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH PELVIC PAIN

New DVD title offers pelvic pain sufferers an effective, daily workout plan that can be viewer-customized, depending on each individual’s different exercise and pain level. This first volume is rated beginner to intermediate level. It is carefully choreographed and instructed by Occupational Therapist and Pilates Instructor, Jenny Lelwica Buttaccio who, herself, suffers from chronic pelvic pain in the form of Interstitial Cystitis.

CHICAGO, IL, JANUARY 31, 2008 – Bothworlds Media, in association with New Dawn Pilates™, announces the upcoming release of New Dawn Pilates™: A Pilates-Inspired Workout For People With Pelvic Pain: Vol.#1, available on DVD, Tuesday, March 18, 2008. The new home video release is a viewer-customizable workout with over 90 minutes of instructional material. It was designed specifically with the needs of those who suffer with a Pelvic Pain Disorder in mind.

Experts have estimated over 200 million women and men worldwide suffer from pelvic pain. Before being diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis (also known as Painful Bladder Syndrome) in 2005, owner of New Dawn Pilates™ and ex-gymnast, Jenny L. Buttaccio, practiced daily, various forms of exercise and body conditioning. Shortly after a laparoscopic surgery to remove an ovarian cyst, she began to experience excruciating pain in her pelvic region and bladder. Over the past two years her life has been changed immensely. One of the major areas particularly difficult for her to continue in the same manner as before is exercise.

Being a Registered & Licensed Occupational Therapist and a Certified Pilates Instructor, Jenny adapted a system of pilates-inspired exercise for herself and for others who suffer from chronic pelvic pain. When asked to explain what led her to create her own unique brand of exercise, Jenny responded, “Currently, there are a few very good videos that focus on pain relief, yoga or stretching for people with pelvic pain. I noticed a gaping hole in the exercise video market, though. There are millions of people with Pelvic Pain Disorders but it’s nearly impossible for a person who suffers with pelvic pain to find a workout video that tones and conditions...I mean an actual workout. There’s not a video out there for people like me, so I made one for us.”

Unlike other pelvic pain exercise videos on the market, this exercise video is actually a workout that will tone and condition. The difference is that it has been carefully crafted in such a way, as to not cause further pain to the pelvic region. The workout adapts Pilates principles of concentration, flow and breath to achieve a total body workout through low impact movements.

The New Dawn Pilates™ DVD features both an Introduction and a twenty-one minute Tutorial that explains proper and safe body-mechanics for the exercises. The DVD menus and chapters were created in such a way that a workout can be customized in multiple ways. Exercisers are offered the option to perform the entire workout from beginning to end, or to simply target a specific area one day (i.e. arms, legs, etc.), and a different area another day.

This allows an individual to personalize their workout, customizing an exercise program, anywhere from 7 to 45 minutes in length, according to their own capabilities. Another feature for pelvic pain sufferers is an on-screen prompt wherever intermediate-level exercises appear. It allows viewers to “Skip” certain exercises that may be too uncomfortable to perform.

Also, included is a bonus workout for those who find it too difficult to perform even the adapted variations of the exercises, or for anyone who has just had a rough day. This bonus workout will renew and energize exercisers through simple, fluid motion done completely from a seated position in a chair. It’s called The Rough Day Revitalizer™.

Along with the release of their first exercise video, Jenny and New Dawn Pilates™ are working on creating an online community specifically for people with pelvic pain who want to exercise. In order to keep their DVD content fresh and pertinent, members of the website will be encouraged to participate in forums and submit critique and ideas for new video content. The online “experience” is set to launch early 2008, and the web address can be found at www.newdawnpilates.com.
