Welcome to my blog. Here you'll find my thoughts on exercising while living with chronic pelvic pain. To read more specifically about my fight with Interstitial Cystisis visit my other blog at: http://jennysicblog.blogspot.com/ WELL, IT'S FINALLY HERE It took my husband and I seven full months to see this project come to life. Our first DVD is slowly becoming more known in world of pelvic pain. The site is finally up. The only thing we need now are people to start filling the New Dawn Community Forum. The hope that my exercise DVDs would meet the needs of women and men struggling with pelvic pain, is only a very small part of what makes up my company, New Dawn Pilates. My real desire is that people would communicate back to me and to each other about what works and doesn't work for them in my DVDs. I also want to find out what other people with pelvic pain are currently doing for exercise. I want to know what works and doesn't work for them. I know that the workouts I choreograph might not be perfect for everyone with pelvic pain, but I also know that many of the individual exercises WILL work for them. Pelvic pain can be such a difficult disorder because different people have different symptoms. What I pray for, though, is that the DVDs I create will offer people with pelvic pain hope. Hope that someone out there is trying to create exercise content for such a huge population of people who suffer day after difficult day. 200 million women and men - - - WOW. That's a lot of pain. I'm sure that many people with pelvic pain disorders will find my DVD workouts beneficial. And I look forward to growing in knowledge as those people communicate back to me and with each other, about what works and what doesn't work. I want this site to grow. I need for people to really get involved and participate. That's what will make this fitness company unique compared to others. I guess, ultimately...I'm not the one fully in control, though. All I can do is put the information and products I create out there, and hope that it meets someone's needs. "And who of you by being worried can add a single hour to his life? So do not worry about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own." (Matthew 6:27, 34)
