Endometriosis on my spine and sciatic nerve 6 Months, 1 Week ago Karma: 0
Hello! My name is Jaclyn Cleveringa and I have Endo on my spine and sciatic nerve. I also have I.C. but the Endo is the main issue I deal with.
I've been dealing with Endo for 7 years but for the past 3 years it's been wrapping itself around those areas and pinching off all my nerves down my right side and right leg.
I've had 8 laporoscopies and I had a hysterectomy when I was 28 years old with no kids.
I currently have to walk with a cane and will soon be using a wheelchair. I've been on every medicine and had every surgery out there for Endo with no luck.
I'm a very rare case (only 70 cases have ever been
reported) and no one can do anything for me. So I have to find things to help me through every day.
For my birthday, my older sister bought me the New Dawn Pilate's DVD and it's the 1st workout I've ever been able to do most of.
I've gained weight from the medicines I've been on and I've been doing it for a month and I've lost 6lbs that have been impossible to loose thus far.
It also has helped me be more energetic, stronger and more in control of my pain levels.
On an average day, on the pain scale of 1-10, I'm a 8 or 9.
After I do the workout, it normally drops my pain down to a 6 or 7 which is a HUGE difference.
Thank you Jenny Buttaccio! You have given me a sense of hope with an inoperable disease.
