What is our GoFundMe campaign all about?

One of our amazing instructors at New Dawn Pilates & Yoga has been struggling with Breast Cancer since 2014. In 2015, she had a double mastectomy, 24 rounds of chemotherapy and 6 operations leading to the reconstruction of her breasts via breast implants (Allergan model).

In 2019, the Allergan model implants were recalled and she has been experiencing sickness on and off over the last couple of years (aches, pains and general sickness).

After a year of discussing options with the Doctors, they have now recommended that she have these implants removed to improve her health AT HER OWN COST as the only way that the operation will be funded by authorities is if the implants leak or further cancer is detected!

She will have to fund it herself if she wishes to have them removed before either of these horrendous outcomes occur!!

Authorities are quoting operation costs of anything between $9k to $25k.

She is hoping to have this operation this year and is on a priority waiting list.

With your participation and support for this event, we will be able to help raise funds towards the costs of this operation for this gorgeous caring person.
