Beginner's Belly Dance Classes

In this 10-week Belly Dancing class, we will be exploring Middle Eastern movements through the whole body, from our heads to our feet.

The classes will help you develop good posture and a strong core while improving your fitness, strength and balance.

Music and dance are great for your heart, mind, and spirit. It elevates your mood and decreases your stress.

Belly dance works with your body, not against it. And many people find increased pride and confidence in what their bodies can do.

These classes are suitable for those with little or no dance experience and those wanting to brush up on the basic building blocks of belly dance.

Carve time out for yourself. Join us and learn to belly dance in a fun, supportive community at New Dawn Pilates & Yoga.

  • Starts 20 April to 22 June 2022 (10 weekly sessions)

  • Every Wednesday, 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm

What to wear/bring:

  • Comfortable clothing that’s easy to move in

  • Ideally, activewear or yoga pants along with a fitted top/singlet

  • A hip scarf/belt/sash, don’t worry if you don’t have one, we will prepare one for you

  • A water bottle

  • A towel/ mat for cool down (we have mats available in the studio as well)

  • A smartphone setup with QR code reader
