KIDS YOGA CLUB

They’ll be having so much fun they won’t realise that they’re actually participating in something that’s great for their health and well-being on so many levels!

10 Weekly Sessions.

It has been proven that Yoga and Mindfulness have so many great benefits for children!!! 🧘‍♀️

As adults, we can’t compare our experience of life to how our children perceive and experience life. We want our children to have the capacity to think for themselves.

Our children need yoga, “first comes self-discovery, then comes self-esteem.” 🧘‍♀️

Children often need to be shown how to create space inside their mind, yoga provides this element of self-discovery and time to find that space. 

Our process of self-discovery involves mindfulness, meditation, contemplation, and also extends beyond these techniques. 

Gen Z is a breakaway generation where social media, smartphones, apps, and access to global chat apps have been part of the fabric of their lives since childhood.

Regular practice of kids yoga provides:

Physical benefits (gaining strength, flexibility and balance),

Mental benefits (assisting them in focusing, better managing stress, relaxing and "re-learning" how to breathe correctly through several breathing techniques which also assist in the balance of the nervous system).

A regular practice of yoga in young children has also proven to help in social situations such as building self confidence, self esteem, reaching out to others and knowing how to deal better with confrontations.

Our children classes include a mix of breathing awareness exercises, stillness (with meditation and relaxation) but also movements through yoga poses and interaction with others (partner poses and yoga games). "
